The Nebula Award

For early-stage work and young creators still taking shape. Launched in partnership with Macao's universities and open across Asia-Pacific, not limited to local students.

The Stellar, Nova and Nebula Award do not overlap across the three tracks; the Star Bridge Grand Award is conferred by the jury from among all winning IP across the three tracks, and its winner also retains the award won in their own track. The four categories carry up to 31 awards in total; as the Grand Award is presented to a work that has already won a track award, up to 30 works are actually recognised. Each figure is a cap; the jury decides how many are actually presented, and any award may be withheld if no entry meets the standard, with withheld places not reallocated

Industry Access, During and After

Industry Access, During and After

The ceremony will be held on 23 October at The Venetian Macao - Cotai Expo. Three other international exhibitions — the 31st MIF, PLPEX 2026 and MFE 2026 — run at the same venue from 21 to 24 October.

On award day the organisers host an industry forum and roundtable; shortlisted entrants and winners may meet buyers and brand owners from mainland China, Macao, nine Portuguese-speaking countries and the wider Asia-Pacific region on site. Beyond the fair, the organising Federation continues to open local collaboration and exhibition resources to winners

02Complete your entry details (contact details, project description, social media, commercialisation, AI declaration, entrant's declaration)
03Upload your A4 layout as a PDF (3–10 pages, under 50MB)
04Your entry is confirmed once our team completes the eligibility check
05Once confirmed, our team will contact you to submit 1–2 high-resolution key visuals (long edge ≥3000px; not used in judging)

Judged by senior figures from the IP industry and related fields. The judging criteria and their weightings will be published through official channels; judging runs in two rounds, with results announced in stages according to the competition timeline
